Basic function:

Accounts Payable Manager (Washington, DC)
Responsible for the daily supervision of the personnel and
activities of the Accounts Payable Department by insuring all processing is completed in a timely, accurate and
efficient manner, including payments to suppliers, responses to department or supplier questions, and all other
transaction processing. Oversees maintenance of supporting records, ensuring compliance with ABC Imaging, state, and
federal policies and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Oversees the supervision of personnel, which includes work allocation, training, and problem resolution; evaluates performance and makes recommendations for personnel actions; motivates employees to achieve peak productivity and performance.
- Organize workforce during regular hours and in extra hour situations.
- Supervise and coordinate all tasks within the Accounts Payable Office including distribution and adjustment of assignments. Insure that the customer services standards set within the department in terms of prompt and accurate payment to vendors and response to customers and vendors are met.
- Supervise reconciliation of difficult vendors to insure progress is made.
- Process high volume of vendor invoices and disbursements.
- Oversees the maintenance of departmental records and the generation and balancing of transaction reports.
- Review and approve all checks disbursed by the Accounts Payable Department.
- Monitor all transactions (payments and vendor set-ups) to insure compliance to all internal and external procedures, policies and requirements.
