Grand Format "pushed limits" to produce and install museum exhibit
By all accounts, ABC Imaging's Grand Format Division pulled out all the stops
to produce and install the exhibit at the German American Heritage Museum. The following images were photographed
just before the museum's grand opening.

John Stricker, Grand Format Division Manager, coordinated both production and installation for ABC Imaging. Designer
David Andersen assisted creative director, Nicole Hamam, in producing her designs. Jim Johnson, production
coordinator, managed the printing and production of all the materials.
Guillermo Rocha, functioned as the project manager, responsible for the installation of the display materials. Sam
Rocha and Robert Diaz assisted in the installation.
"The project really pushed our limits in Grand Format," Stricker said. "We had to produce the designs, print the
graphics, and install everything within the three month schedule leading to the museum’s grand opening."
Project checklist for an exhibit
Just some of the work done by Grand Format for the GAHM exhibit:
- cut vinyl was used for musical notation applied directly to the walls
- graphics printed on adhesive-backed vinyl were applied to a kiosk
- numbers for dates were routed and applied to a timeline
- acrylic panels were printed and mounted to the walls using standoffs
- shadow boxes were printed and installed on the stairway to the exhibit
